I am in the middle of Toasty's route, having done all the others first, and I have the most horrifying sense that I know what's going on here. And because I'm not gonna drop what might be spoilers in the comments, all I'm gonna say is 'OMG DON'T SELL, TOASTY! DON'T SELL!'
Absolutely gnawing on my knuckles, here. I shall return for a proper review, once I figure out if I'm right... (also, toasty is the definite fave, for me)
Now to attempt to review this game like a normal person... Yeah, I know why you have to do at least two other routes before even approaching Toasty's is reasonable. The pieces are there, so that when he says That One Thing, everything just snaps right into place. okay, no, he said another thing first that led to a different, but related suspicion, but i got to the correct suspicion shortly thereafter.
My first route was Xyx's bad ending. I just walked into the game with no expectations and did what I do best, and then watched the conversation crumble under my fingertips in the second half. And that sense of dread, that sense of 'everything I can possibly say is going to be wrong' is so real.
Quest was relatively enjoyable, despite being The Awkward Relationship No Server Mod Wants To Deal With Having. Very mellow kind of guy, overall, in spite of That One Thing. And the ex scenes were dead on. Like, that's a special kind of horrifying. But, overall -- not just in this bit -- I think salo's really the offset for the ex. Everything is horrible, but salo's still there, still cheerful, still reminding us what long-forged and well-tempered goodness looks like. salo's the offset for a lot of horrors.
Nightowl was my least favourite. I am too fucking old for this shit. ... And I just scrolled up to look, and boy howdy, I am too fucking old for all of this shit, but nightowl just... everything I hated about people in my 20s, distilled. but, i guess that's realism points for nightowl, too. BUT. I PLAYED THROUGH. BECAUSE I WANTED TO UNLOCK TOASTY. PROPERLY AND WITH THE FULL CONTEXT. i just now also want to wash my skin off.
That said? I LOVE TOASTY. Just ... hm. Realising I've played a lot of otome recently, and I have a type... He feels real, though. He sounds like friends of mine from fifteen years ago. And there's so little I can say about his route that isn't SPOILERS, but I'll admit, there was a moment of doubt, in there, when I went 'IF HE DOESN'T SAVE IT I'M FUCKING STEALING IT THAT BETTER BE AN OPTION'. *coughs* But, he did, and all was well, and all manner of thing was well, and my protagonist will be braiding his hair until the end of time.
What can I tell you? I love your games because I've met your characters. ... No, that sounds deranged. I have met the type of people your characters have firm foundations in, and you reproduce them well.
Just finish the Quest route, thanks for the experience!! I'm loving and i don't know how i can get over him!! I miss him already...I am playing his route again!

In short, I just get all the files to run the game and don't know how to run it. I've looked on the internet and unfortunately couldn't find anything that helped and was wondering if you could. I use windows and am very much not tech-savvy. Again, sorry to bother you :')
Hey, I'm not the on you asked but have you extracted all the files? I get that you probably have, but it wouldn't hurt to check! Extracting files is probably what's stopping you from playing, you have to click extract all! If it still doesn't work, make sure and check you downloaded the right version or try extracting them again!! Sorry if this doesn't end up working.

Loved the concept and the attention to detail such as the written story related to the web novel, the post ending extras, as well as the voice acting for the characters were well done! I enjoyed how they approached the 'calls' as well as the server stuff. It really felt like it was a discord server! The links even worked when you clicked on them! Character identities were easily understood and each were unique in their specific way, including how they typed!
I do enjoy the story but I feel like I could have gotten much more into it if it was given a bit more time to 'bloom' (heh). The story beats and plot came over the romance, and that's fine but I do wish we could have spent time with the fun romance aspect. Some quality time where they play off of each other would give their interactions a deeper meaning between the MC and the LIs. This might be because most of the responses were essentially a 'continue' button, so I didn't feel like the MC had the chance to play around with the other characters in a satisfying way (if you get me?).
If you're talking about the song that plays on the opening menu it's just called Blooming Panic on youtube, anything else youd have to go throught the music files for im p sure
HHDDBDBDBDBDHDBHDBDBDBDBD this is the best dating sim / chatsim / whatever whatever its soooooo good. nightowl is my favorite favorite faVORITE i played through his route twice already because i love himmmmMMMM. i failed xyx's route like five times because i didnt wanna lose at tongue twisters lol also i thought the toasty route was super fun and i liked the added endgame element to it especially cause i played it last of the four anyways 100000000/10 would reccomend lol
I immediately captured the good ending of Quest and for me that was enough, I loved his voice, the way he spoke, the chivalry towards the character, etc. Congratulations to the creator, I really liked it. .
Blooming Panic is one of those immaculate games that make you love every one of the characters, including those who aren't the love interests!
In terms of the LI, I love how they were constructed like real people. Like us, we seem to fit in a certain 'vibe', but other details eventually get released - such as a painful history that allowed us to shape ourselves into someone we can accept and truly love. Basically, I really appreciated how they didn't seem to just fit into a certain trope of LI.
For the side characters, I also love how we got glimpses into who they are as well as their values! And I especially love how they weren't forgotten with each play through, as they each had their time to shine and also have small bits and pieces of them revealed in other play throughs that they might not have been as prominent in.
Because of this, this is one of the few games that I continually enjoyed throughout each playthrough!
P.S. I think the opening bg song is also very neat, as each LI's story in the game had a time to shine, but was in a way that was very smooth and interlinked.

If you can't tell by the other reviews this game is amazing. the best visual novels/dating Sims I've ever played. I would 100% recommend playing this bendings are amazing though I can't say anything about the Bad Endings because I haven't got any and I refuse to get any because my heart would be able to take it...
